Clear Coat Protection Add-on

With this add-on, we will apply the Everbrite brand Clear Coat ProtectaClear on your day collar/choker! This is an eight-hour process where we spray the clear coat in four different layers to protect the jewelry. 

Why have us apply the clear coat? Everbrite ProtectaClear can be bought from the manufacturer directly, but we offer this application in the event that the customer does not have a well-ventilated space to apply the applications and that if there are mistakes made during the spray process, it is easier for us to replace the hardware that was sprayed incorrectly. 

This is only applicable for day collars/chokers. 

Clear Coat Protection Features: Thin, tough, & scratch resistant mix of resins that protects against oxidation, corrosion, and tarnishing as well as reducing the risk of fingerprints/smudges.

Duration: Depending on the amount of rubbing against skin, manufacturer states it should last a minimum of 3-5 months. Excessive sweating/moisture can cause it to deteriorate quicker. If you see the coating on your electroplated hardware start to fade, please contact us and we can reapply the spray, only shipping and handling charges will need to be covered for the reapplication. Charge free application is only valid for approximately 1 year post purchase. 

Notice: Please allow a minimum of two weeks for proper curing of the clear coat from the date written on the card before letting water sit/pool on the surface or submerging in water (such as bathing/swimming)

Aftercare:

• Do not use citrus based cleaner or abrasives on your jewelry.
• Only use mild dish soap or water/other mild cleaners.

All orders containing the clear coat protection will come with their own care guide and written reference for when the clear coat was applied. Due to the lengthy process to apply the clear coat, the process may add an additional week to your processing time. 

Service Warranty Information: From the manufacturer, we can guarantee the clear coat addition for a maximum of 6 months. After 6 months, the coating will need to be re-applied at your own discretion, or it can be resent back to us for repeat coating at your discretion.
